Today at number 5 via dei Gelsi you will find a sign that bears the name of Carne & Spirito and ... 

a local with newly renovated interiors .... More informal, attractive and original ... and offer mainly meat, or better meats(of various origins and cuts) ... and then Milanese T'bone, a sumptuous Fondue Bourguignon, or whatever of good you can make it sizzle on the grill (Bavarian Scottona cube roll, tenderloin Piedmont fassona, American premium black angus).There is a convenient business lunch, and a small list of daily specials.
